Apt-get errors out as show below when trying the read the package
lists. How do I get out of it.

E: Error occurred while processing libsdl1.2debian-all

MergeList
/var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.uk.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_main_bin
ary-i386_Packages E: The package lists or status file could not be
parsed or opened.

SOLUCIÓ:

Augmentar la mida de memoria cau del gestor de paquets apt

sudo gedit /etc/apt/apt.conf

Modificar augmentant el tamany de la memória cau,
APT::Cache-Limit "200000000"
